Easter Potato Bake
by adustyframe ~ April 7th, 2009This is the super yummy, probably not so good for you potato dish that my mom makes every Easter.
2 lb frozen hasbrowns
1 stick butter
1 small onion, minced
1 pint sourcream
1 can cream of mushroom soup
12 oz. shredded cheddar cheese
1 tsp. salt
Topping:
2 c. crushed corn flakes
1/4 c. melted butter
1. Mix all potato ingredients together.
2. Place into a large backing dish.
3. Mix topping ingredients together and sprinkle over potatoes.
4. Bake 350 F for 1 1/4 hours.
*You can easily substitute fat free sour cream, low fat cheese and soup in this recipe. It still tastes good.
