Works Of God~Monday Edition
by adustyframe ~ April 19th, 2009
Anything exciting going on in your life this past week? Any blessings or provision? Did your pastor share anything that blessed you?
If so, please share with us. Either link to any blog post from the past month, or leave a comment here.
Here are a few of mine.
1. Someone has been bringing day old bread to church. They get it right before it expires. There was tons of 7 Grain and whole wheat bread today. Definitely a blessing.
2. James told Pastor tonight that he’d like to be baptized.
3. I’ve started playing the piano for church services again. That feels nice. It was a long break!
4. It was warm enough to hang the laundry out on Saturday. I sure enjoy warmer weather!
What about you? Can you think of one “little” blessing you’ve had lately?

Someone brings day old bread to our church, too! It is such a blessing to our family too!

AMEN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We’ve been praying for him!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Love the day old bread, whenever we get a load, I volunteer to take a few loaves to the single moms and the widows — it’s an all evening fun-fest!
Ok, we have Norris Belcher (don’t know if I spelled that right) at church this week — blessings, blessings, blessings.

There’s a lot to be thankful for.
1. My friend’s little boy accepted Christ as his Savior on Easter Sunday.
2. I’ve been wondering where money for some needs was going to come from and it seems to have appeared out of no where. Almost $400!!
3. Being forced to take two days off work last week had great benefits. I was able to join a gym and I’ve finally gotten to the cleaning I’ve been putting off.
4. I’ve been having some health issues, and my doctor doesn’t think it’s anything neurological. I may have to have some further testing though.

The Lord blessed me by sending a stranger to encourage me after a very, very bad client experience.
My husband actually got called out this on-call rotation. The overtime money will be great.
We just finished paying off some lingering debts from last year. Now we only have one car payment ( hope to be rid of that next year!) and our mortgage. The debtor truly is servant to the lender, and it feels incredible to be out from under that burden.
One of my husband’s relatives moved the our town, and we are having fun getting together. We haven’t developed any really close friends in the 3 years we have been here, and it is nice to have someone to fellowship and hang out with outside of church!
So many things to be thankful for. I’m glad you have this feature here.

1. Last week, God answered some foundational questions I have been struggling with for a while. Thankful beyond words for the peace and security His answers bring.
2. We have been very, very blessed by a new church home and the precious folks in the group. We feel God has led us to these folks and is using them to speak to us and minister to us. We look forward to ministering and serving along with the church as God leads us.
3. Enjoyed sharing my testimony with a couple of ladies Saturday evening. I kept hearing God whisper to me to “tell them about Jesus” but I didn’t know how best to go about it or whether they already knew Jesus for themselves. He opened the door right up and before I knew what was happening, my testimony was pouring out about how I met Jesus and what that did for my life.
4. My husband and I have talked and opened up to each other even more this past week (it’s a process!). It was painful at times, but freeing, and we are closer than we were before.
5. I am reading The Warrior, by Francine Rivers, about Caleb in the Old Testament. It is a blessing and encouragement to me.
I’m sure there is more! Praise God!
