New Year’s Goals Update

The biggest things on my list of goals were getting more rest and taking care of my health.
I’ve been making some progress.
I’ve been going to bed quite a bit earlier than I used to. Some nights it’s even 10:30 or 11:00 which surely beats 2:00 doesn’t it?

One nice thing I’m noticing is that I am tired earlier, so I think I’m getting used to going to bed earlier.
I’m also working on getting up earlier. I’m aiming for 6:15 but I’m not quite there yet. Some days I do and I’m always happy when I do, but I think I need to bump up the bedtimes quite a bit if I’m going to consistently get up early.

I’ve been taking NOW Foods Special Two with Greens.
I’ve been taking them for about a month and am feeling a bit better.

They also force me to give up another bad habit–skipping breakfast! I can never take vitamins on an empty stomach so I have to eat breakfast. That’s good–that’s a habit I needed to get better at too.

I’ve been getting in more exercise–I got 3 workouts last week. That’s my goal so I’m happy. Now to do that this week too!

I’m working on making healthier food choices too. You can pray for me. I need to lose weight and there’s no time like the present right?

The other goals are doing pretty good too!

    Good for you! I’m so proud of you!
    We had a pastor, about 5 years ago, who would tell us, you can only be as spiritual as you are rested — the more you make yourself run on no rest + caffeine, the more cranky and un-Christlike you act. I think he’s right.
