Works of God

Has God blessed you in any way this week? (Come on now! You must be bursting with blessings!)

Psalm 68:19 Blessed be the Lord who DAILY loadedth us with benefits.

If you don’t have a blog leave a comment here to share how God blessed you this week.

If you have a blog leave a link to any post from the past month.

Here are a few of ours.

1. I got some yummy yarn on freecycle.

2. A man from church gave me a lawn mower. It’s a BEAST! I’m not sure if I am strong enough to start it but at least once it’s started, I can mow!

3. My sister is coming for a visit next week!!

4. James promoted to his yellow belt/green tip on Friday. He works so hard and he’s learning so much. I’m proud of him. I’m also thankful that we found classed that aren’t “Eastern”.

5. I’m feeling a bit better. I’m still tired, but not exhausted and achey. Tired I can deal with–I’ve been living that way for a few years now!

6. God’s provision in big and small ways. I am so thankful for him carrying us through this.
Your turn!

Hey. It’s been forever since I had a chance to catch up on my blog reading… It’s nice to get back to you.

My blessing this week is that I got a promotion at work and started class for the new job on Friday. Yay! Now, I’m just hoping to pass all of the classes.

  2. Pam

Several blessings….my son-in-law has been out of work since June of 2008. He has decided to change career paths and has taken and passed all of the pre-req classes to be accepted in a certification program at Northwestern and received notification last week that he has been accepted. Now they just have to be amazed at how the Lord is going to help them pay for this blessing. We had some
wonderful family time on Sat and Sun…great memories were made with lots of laughs.

  3. Marie

Well, we had a nice AWANA banquet last week; Stefan actually won an award for having the most verses memorized for the Sparkies. I was quite proud of him!

God’s also brought someone back into my life from the past, a true blessing. Suzy and I were highschool classmates at a small, secular New England prep school (before either of us were saved). She married a British guy and moved away to England soon after graduation and they traveled the world as missionaries w/ Mercy Ships. Now, 20 years later, they’re moving back to the area – with three adopted kids – probably to our town! They visited our church the last 2 weekends and love it. I am so glad and really eager for them to settle here permanently; she’s the only one from high school I can really see having so much in common with. Anywho. That’ll be neat.

  4. Jenny is my post for this week!

    I love reading your blessings!!
