Works of God Monday
by adustyframe ~ June 14th, 2009
This week should be super easy for everone.
Share something that you appreciate about God or something that you praise him for. I think it will be good to focus on who he is rather than just what he does for us
Either leave a link to a post, or leave a comment.
I praise God for being my Jehovah Jireh–my provider.
I praise God for being El Roi–my God who sees. I am so thankful that he sees and he knows. That aspect of God blesses me greatly.
Your turn!

These are things God is to me:
My Helper
My Steadfast Alert Ever Awake Watchman
My Keeper
My Cover
My Protector
My Soul’s Preserver
My Preserver Now and Forever More
My Friend
and so much more
He doesn’t change
He is totally AWESOME

It’s good to praise God for who He is! I praise God for being loving, just, sovereign, and compassionate toward sinners (like ME!)

I have been really sick….the medication made it almost inpossible for me to pray…this round is over and I’m getting my strength back….I am soooo very thankful for God’s word and that I have it hidden in my heart….I know that HE hears me even when I don’t make much sense.
God Bless, Pam, South Bend

Hey. I’m behind on my blogging, so I thought I’d just leave a comment instead of a link. I passed all of the tests and mock negotiations for my new promotion training, and I got to come home to my family last week.
I’m grateful to God for giving me the job I hated and for giving me the strength to get good enough at it to get promoted. I’m hopeful for the future.

I praise Him because He is kind, leading us to repentance. He is infinitely patient, compassionate, merciful, forgiving, tender-hearted, gracious, slow to anger, gentle, and although He is the most powerful Person in the universe, He is humble.
Pretty amazing, when you stop and think about it.

I’m thankful He doesn’t give up on us and patiently, lovingly tends us as His sheep … that He is a Good Shepherd.
