works-of-god

My company left me! My house feels empty. We had a really wonderful time being together and I praise God for the chance to relax and have fun with people I love very much.

I have so many blessings to share this week.

1. Time spent with my family.

2. God’s provision through Gleaning the Harvest & my sister and brother in law.

3. My sister bought me a closet full of new towels.

4. My brother carted me around since my car doesn’t like to travel long distances. He also installed the air conditioner in my bedroom.

5. I got a photo shoot for James’ baseball team and made a little dough.

6. James’ baptism service was very special. This verse is so true

3 John 1:4

I have no greater joy than to hear that my children walk in truth.

7. A man at church fixed my brakes and rotors and discovered 2 pieces in the tie rod that were dangerously close to breaking. He repaired all of that and changed my oil and told me to consider the parts a gift.

8. I wanted to get James a nice “adult” Bible for his baptism. My dad sent one from his church that was brand new. James is excited that his Bible has Bible paper like mine.

9. James was given a very nice certificate to CBD for his baptism too and he chose some nice things.

10. My other sister bought me several new shirts!

11. I was able to order our vitamins with my Swagbucks earnings. I used them to get Amazon certificates and today ordered mine and James’ vitamins and a book for school and it didn’t cost me anything. That is such a blessing to me.

I feel like I’m forgetting something! I’ve been overwhelmed with God’s provision and the generosity of friends and church family the past couple weeks.

God is good!
What about you? Any blessings?

4 Thoughts Shared to Works of God

  1. Pam

My husband was told he has prostate cancer this past week. We are thankful for friends who are praying for our wisdom to chose the right treatment for him. I know that none of this is a surprise to the Lord.
He will walk us thru this…..God Bless

I was given 2 babysitting jobs Friday and Saturday. Both were longer than planned and I was able to make twice as much as was originally planned. I’m going tire shopping this week. I think I will even have enough left to make a double payment on my car! I’m praying to have the car payed off by the end of the year. It looks like it may happen!!!!

Last week, my friend was told he has two weeks to live. His family was able to make it in and make some special memories. He’s a month younger than my dad, and has the same type on cancer my grandmother died of. I’m praying for a quick and painless death. He has touched so many lives. He is trully one of the few who wholly gave his life to Christ and let Him use it. Even now he is being used. Praise God!!!

Wow! So many blessings, and so many things to pray about.
My work seems to be falling into place this week & we’re praying for some of the crazy scheduling to smoothe out over the summer.
