Discussion
by adustyframe ~ June 27th, 2009When my family was all here, (boo hoo by the way! I miss them all.) we were discussing our jobs.
I think my dear brother was emphasizing his job as the most important. He does have a great job and takes providing for his wife quite seriously!
He outlined what each of us did and the time we spent.
He said to me, “And you just rely on God.”
I laughed at him but I’ve thought of that many times in the past week.
I DO rely on God. God is providing for us each step of the way in big and “little” ways that never cease to amaze me.
I’m not certain that I just “rely on God” because I know that I still worry and fret more than I should.
I think his comment is wonderful. Yep, I “just” rely on God.
Psalm 68:19 Blessed be the Lord who daily loadeth us with benefits.

That boy is so funny and yes, he does think his job is the most important…..that’s how brothers are.

And the truth be told…”just relying on God” is REALLY hard work most days!!! LOL!!!
: )
But it’s a good place to be, isn’t it?
Alesha
It definitely is. You’re right though that it’s the best place to be!

Well, you’re a full-time educator as well, aren’t you? Homeschooling is no small thing (which is why it would be far beyond my abilities). I’d say you’re very proactive and ambitious at making ends meet and doing it well.
Thanks! Yeah, I should have reminded him that I’m a teacher!

I think you have the hardest job of all! Relying on God takes more than time and effort. Boys, they think they always have the harder job. I think it’s that ego thing. Did God give them a larger one on purpose? =)

Remind him he would be unable to do his job if it hadn’t been for teachers
oh no! You do it!
