Works of God~Monday

by adustyframe ~ July 5th, 2009

works-of-godHas God been up to anything in your life lately?

If so, please share! Anything big or “little” is a wonderful encouragement to me.

I haven’t taken out the wrong code from Mr. Linky–I tried, but I can’t find it! So please just leave your link in a comment.

I’ve been enjoying God’s provision, beautiful weather, time with my son, time off school, and a new ladies Bible study.

I’m taking James to church camp today! Please pray for him to have a wonderful time. I’m also praying for him to be a wise boy and that God will use the messages and teaching to touch his life.

What about you?

Lizzie

I taught 1st grade last year. This up and coming year, enrollment changed and I was suppose to now teach kindergarten. I was not so excited! Terrified actually. But I figured it must be where God wants me. OK. This week I received a phone call. It seems that my transfer to a closer building and to 2nd grade had been approved. This was a total shock to me. A grade I think I will love and at the closer building! A whole 30 minutes off my commute. And I never really “prayed” about it because I thought why is God going to do about it! I guess he showed me!

    Awesome!

I will pray for James to have a fun…Christ centered experience at camp.
This week we continue to keep appointments leading up to my husbands upcoming prostate cancer surgery. Waiting is soooooo hard….but I know none of this is a surprise to the Lord….He will sustain me.
    God Bless, Pam, South Bend

    ((hugs)) while you wait!

I’m so glad James is going to camp! Can’t believe he’s big enough to go to overnight camp. If he’s going to the one I’m thinking about, he’ll have a blast!

I found out that I will either have to get two crowns or one crown and a root canal done. The praises are: 1. that the teeth are next to each other, so I’ll only have to be numbed up once. 2. my dental insurance will cover most of both. I have a three day long babysitting job this weekend, and I’ll still be able to buy the much needed tires for my car!!! I have a 4 day long dogsitting job at the end of the month which means I will be able to get the breaks fixed. I’ve known about the breaks for almost two years now, but havn’t had the money to get them fixed. A lot of prayer has gone into the breaks and tires in the last year. God is good!!!!

I havn’t heard anything about my application to the local county to work in law enforcement, but I’ve been noticing big changes in my body from all the working out. Maybe all God wants me to do is get back in shape? Seems like more and more of my family are developing weight-related health issues. That has also been a great incentive to keep going!

I’m late sharing this week, but that is how life goes! So happy for James! I remember learning so many things about God at camp!
