Works of God~Monday
by adustyframe ~ July 12th, 2009
Has God blessed you this week in any big or “small” ways? Please share.
Please leave a comment with your work of God or leave a link to any post from the last month–no I haven’t figured out Mr. Linky yet!
Here’s mine.
1. James had a super time at camp. I survived letting him go. I am thankful for the opportunity for him to spread his wings in a safe environment.
2. While he was at camp, I was able to spend a lot of time with my husband.
Lee was released several days ago quite earlier than I had expected.
It’s been a blessing to spend time with him. We have a lot to talk about and we’ve been working through things as we’re able.
He’s living in a temporary living until his parole officer decides what she wants to do.
She met with Pastor, Lee, and I on Friday. This is the first rumblings about letting Lee come home. It’s not happening yet and may not happen for awhile, but she’s finally talking about it.
3. Lee has a job interview tomorrow. We’ve applied for many many jobs and this was the first call back. Please pray for him to get a job soon.
4. Also, please pray for him. He’s discouraged about not being home and not having a job.
I know that you would have liked to know that Lee was already out, but I was feeling really overwhelmed and just wanted to have quiet time with him without feeling that I needed to blog about it. Thanks for understanding.
We need lots of prayers and I’m thankful for all your encouragement andprayer.
What about you? I’d love to hear how God is moving in your life.

Praise God!! We are praying, praying, praying for you all!
I have been praising God for several days now for a big breakthrough in our family. For about 4-5 months God has laid on my heart that we should homeschool our kiddos (that alone is a work of God on MY heart!). But my husband has not been on board with the idea. We have talked and talked about it, prayed about, etc. I was concerned that we didn’t have unity on the matter. And I was getting concerned because we were getting down to the line on having to make a decision for this next year and hubby still wasn’t feeling it. In our last discussion about it, my husband said, “If we can find a Category I umbrella school that is nearby, I will feel satisfied and we can homeschool.” Well, as I set about to research, I found that all the nearby umbrella schools are Category III. Hmmmm. I didn’t have time for a few days to do any more research, then out of the blue a Category I private Christian school right in our town announced they are opening registration for homeschoolers who want to use their school as an umbrella school. Two weeks before the school year starts!!! It all came together and we are good to go. Hubby is on board. Praise God for working it all together … the desires He laid on my heart to homeschool and my husband’s concern for protecting his family.
Yeah:) What a blessing. It’s wonderful to see how God works.

Oh wow! that is great news! Totally great too that you can spend time with Lee alone and work things through. Don’t need to worry abt telling us, esp when you need to focus on you two! And great that James had a good time at camp! It’s surely a growing opportunity for him to learn to be independent and make wise choices when parents are not around!
Very happy for ya’ll! At another step, another blessing
Thank you:)

Awesome to hear about. Was wondering about the meeting.
In His time…..
Praying Lee will give it all to the Father, who has his best in His plans for you all already. May you all be blessed with peace and patience and love.
May Lee have time to renew his relationship on his own time with the Lord at this time also.
Love and blessings to your family~
J
Thank you for praying!

Wonderful news! I will keep you in prayer for all the decisions that have to be made and for your husband to get a renewed sense of hope.
I have a new grandson! God’s timing is so perfect! He was two weeks early and we all had been praying that he wouldn’t come early. But God knew just what my daughter needed and this precious baby has given us hope and joy.
Thank you! Congratulations on the new baby!

Whoo-hoo! Praising God to hear of Lee’s release but still praying for the path ahead.
God was good to us just last night. Mr. Incredible developed kidney stones while he was out working and the kids and I were at church. The kids and I ended up picking him up after church, taking him to the ER.
We spent a couple of hours there (with 4 kids ages 6, 5, 3, and 1!!!), then I went home with the kids because the three oldest were crying (worried about their daddy) and the youngest was screaming.
My mom came from 1.5 hours away and got there about midnight so I could go pick up Mr. Incredible. When I got to the hospital, he was being discharged. He had already passed the stone and was just having residual pain from inflammation.
Praise God for family who is willing to help out when we desperately needed it, and I am thankful that Mr. Incredible didn’t have to spend a week in agony like he did last time.
Thank you!
I hope your husband is feeling better by now!

This month has suddenly filled up with extra work.
Even though, I would love to put the extra money toward paying off my mountain of bills, God knows I need other things done. He is so good about providing the necessary income to pay for everything! It is awesome to see His love and care for every little part of my life!
I’ll keep you in my prayers and pass along the good news to the others I know who are praying also. I know you don’t have a time-line, but I’ll keep praying that things happen soon.
Thank you!

So glad to hear Lee has been released! So neat of the Lord to allow that while James was away at camp so you could have some time to be together. And a job interview right away is great. Glad James had such a great time at camp, too.
Thank you!

with the loving arms of our Lord….comforting…encouraging….sustaining
you all….celebrating His love…helping you to adjust to your new life “TOGETHER”
God Bless
Thank you!

June and July were busy months for me with little blogging and no blog reading. I’m catching up this morning, and what a wonderful surprise to find your good news. I hope that you and Lee and James are all settling into your new roles and are enjoying feeling hopeful and eager to have Lee home with you finally.
