When my sister and her little girl were here, we had a lot of fun.
My little niece kept us in stitches. She wasn’t quite 4 when they were here and she’s a hoot.
The first thing that she said that made us laugh was about Grandpa. My dad is a big guy. My niece said, “Whoa, I have to stop eating or I’m going to get chumped up like Grandpa.”
She talked about being “chumped up” like Grandpa quite a few times.
Then she brought her Bitty Baby doll. Every morning, I’d see Bitty Baby in my bed on my pillow all covered up.
If you ask her what her baby’s name is she says, “Baby Jesus.”
She isn’t teasing. Her Bitty Baby played Jesus in the Christmas play so she thinks her doll is Baby Jesus.
So, Baby Jesus was hanging out at my house in a leopard print skirt!
