Works of God ~Monday

Any blessings this week?
1. Someone gave Lee and I money to go out for dinner. It was nice to have a date and not think about the money.
2. We’ve started counseling with Pastor. Good for a lot of reasons.
3. Lee is working temp work. It’s definitely a blessing even though it’s nowhere near enough pay, but it’s so much better than nothing.
4. The Rachel Barkey video I posted last week was a huge blessing to me. The Lord spoke to me about a number of things and helped me to accept something that I had been refusing for a long while.
What about you? Any blessings or things you’ve learned this week?

I’m lost–is Lee out now?
Yes, I shared that a couple weeks ago. He’s in a temporary living–everything is pretty much the same as it was last summer.

My blessings are many….my husband was diagnosed with prostate cancer BUT it was found early…..we have insurance….even though we had to travel 3 hours for the surgery we got a Dr. that has done close to 1000 of these….he had the surgery this morning and did GREAT….no surprises..we won’t have the pathology reports for a week to ten days but the Dr. said everything looked
good. Please pray for us as I drive us back home tomorrow….God Bless
((hugs)) and prayers.

I read this post and had the very same question as Lisa. How did I ever miss that?! So happy you can have dates with Lee again!I’ll keep Lee in my prayers.
Anyway, on to blessings…
1) Only two weeks left of Nick’s speech therapy until he’s discharged. Nick has been in speech therapy for 3 years and during that time our insurance covered it at 90%. It wasn’t until last month that Hub’s insurance changed and the new insurance doesn’t cover the therapy. Wow, am I ever thankful that we had good coverage when we needed it the most.
2) Nick’s preschool teacher – who has been absolutely incredible – came into our lives when Nick was diagnosed with autism 2 years ago. Nick is heading off to kindergarten in a few weeks and his preschool teacher just turned in her resignation and is leaving at the end of this week. I am so very thankful that this incredibly wonderful teacher was a part of our lives during a time when we needed it the most.
I don’t think the timing of any of these events is a fluke. God provided the means and the right people to enter/exit our lives at exactly the right time. How cool is that?
That is awesome! God is Good!
