Works of God~Monday
by adustyframe ~ August 2nd, 2009
I enjoy counting my blessings all week and looking for opportunities to acknowledge God’s working in my life. I hope you do too.
This week, I had some blessings.
1. My friend brought over 2 huge bags of clothes and shoes for James.
2. Lee got to scrape his friend’s garage for a few bucks and he’s working a temp job for 2 days this week. (Please keep praying for a real job for him!)
3. I got to take some maternity photos of my friend–good practice.
4. The weather has been perfect. We’re enjoying summer.
What about you? Any thing new learned in Bible study/church? Any blessings you’d like to share?

I got to spend the whole day Saturday by the lake with my best friend while our kids played, and her husband did guy stuff with my son. What could be better?
That sounds wonderful!

My son has started pooping in the potty this week! While that’s always a happy thing for any kid, we are ESPECIALLY grateful. Our little man has bowel issues that have plagued him since birth. We’ve traveled to different specialists to get help. Honestly, there were days when I wondered if this day would EVER come, or if the problems would evolve into something even much more serious.
How grateful and happy I am to report that he has now gone on the potty four times in a row!! He and I have talked about how God will help him with the potty-ing (is that a word??), and we prayed and thanked Him today for the success He’s allowed our little guy to have.
Woo hoo!

We traveled 3 hours for my husband to have prostate surgery one week ago yesterday.
The surgery was done one week ago today.
We were sent back home to recover for one week and then traveled the 3 hours back yesterday. Today the took xrays of his bladder and then removed the catheter. His
recovery has been AMAZING…he has had
discomfort but NO REAL PAIN. We are praying that they were able to remove all of the cancer and praising the Lord for His comfort.
God Bless, Pam, South Bend
I’m glad to hear this, Pam!
