Question of the Day

by adustyframe ~ August 26th, 2009

My current Bible study is Seeking Him Experiencing the Joy of Personal Revival by Nancy Leigh DeMoss.

Last week, as I filled out some of the pages, I found this question. I think it’s good to contemplate personally, but I also think it’s a good one to discuss.

How are worry and anxiety expressions of pride rather than humilty?

  1. Pam

Worry and anxiety often lead to the “how can I fix this?” mentality…I become “Holy Ghost Jr” and get in the way of the Lord taking care of the situation relaxing in His
plan for my life. I become focused on the “problem” instead of what I am supposed to learn from the circumstance.

Oh wow..I have been discussing my worry and axiety with my counselor. I guess I better think about it some more in light of your question. Maybe I better get that book too!
