Cool Autumn days bring burning wood stoves here.
I enjoy walking through crisp fallen leaves, inhaling the aroma of wood and smoke.

1 C. Sugar
1 egg
1 C. Shortening
1 tsp. Vanilla
2 C. Flour
1 tsp. Baking Soda
1 tsp. Baking Powder
1 tsp. Salt
1 tsp. Cinnamon
1/2 tsp. Nutmeg
1/4 tsp. Cloves
1 c. Canned Pumpkin
1/2 C. Raisins
1/2 c. Chopped Walnuts
