A Wonderful Caregiver~Repost
by adustyframe ~ September 1st, 2009Last night, we were watching a show on TV. I don’t even remember if it was a commercial or a show, but a comment was made,
“Too bad there wasn’t a caregiver to take care of the caregivers.”
Immediately, I said, “Yeah! It’s too bad there’s not.”
A very still voice spoke quietly to my heart, “I take care of you.”
Oh! Yes. The Lord takes very good care of us. He takes wonderful care of me.
I thought of this song then. It’s one of my Dad’s favorites.
If you go here you can listen to the 1st verse and chorus. (click on #11)
It was written by Charles Weigle an evangelist. He came home from an evangelistic campaign to find a note on the piano. His wife was tired of being married to an evangelist and she left him.
No One Ever Cared for Me Like Jesus
1. I would love to tell you what I think of Jesus
Since I found in Him a friend so strong and true;
I would tell you how He changed my life completely,
He did something that no other friend could do.
Chorus No one ever cared for me like Jesus;
There’s no other friend so kind as He;
No one else could take the sin and darkness from me.
O how much He cared for me!
2. All my life was full of sin when Jesus found me;
All my heart was full of misery and woe;
Jesus placed His strong and loving arms around me,
And He led me in the way I ought to go.
3. Ev’ry day He comes to me with new assurance,
More and more I understand His words of love;
But I’ll never know just why He came to save me,
Till some day I see His blessed face above.
