Photo Practice
by adustyframe ~ September 22nd, 2009I begged my friend to let me practice on her belly and then her new baby! These were both my first maternity and newborn photo shoots and I learned a lot. One thing I learned is that babies are a lot of work to photograph!
My sister in law is thankful that I’m practicing so I can take her maternity and baby photos soon. Although I told her I’m not sure she’ll be able to afford me (haha just kidding!).
I’ll leave a little space here in case anyone doesn’t like maternity photos–they’re totally tasteful, but I understand you may wish to pass on them. The baby shots will be under the maternity.

excellent, way to go…i love all of them..
we had a few done..just for ideas..older dd kissing my belly , wish we had done my hands making a heart around my belly button,
the baby ones were cute too….

Those look good! I haven’t done any newborn or maternity shoots yet, but I am DIEING to! Maybe soon….

Oh how cute! I love maternity photo! The blessing of being a mother… ahh… I can hardly wait til I have my first baby.
I love seeing photos of newborns wrapped in blankies (or mommy’s arms!) and the momma afterwards… what a wonderful thing to snap some shots of!
