More Blessings

Here are some more blessings God sent our way this week.

  • 1. My friend Joy took James and I out to eat when she visited last weekend.
  • 2. Lee needed a new tire to replace a very bad tire on his car. He asked his father if he had any tires laying around. My father in law brought over 8 tires (yikes!) but thankfully one of them fit perfectly.
  • 3. I got a little part time job playing for a local choir. It’s just a few hours, but 3 nights a week. It feels good having music to practice again. It’s been a long time since I’ve been forced to practice every day.
  • 4. James got a very bad tooth taken care of on Monday. It’s been a long saga, but I’m thankful to have it taken care of finally.
  • 5. We’re back to school finally. It felt strange taking time off  so soon after starting, but I guess my Grandma didn’t think about that!
  • 6. I got toilet paper and laundry soap at the food pantry this week! That’s so exciting to me I can’t stand it!

    I’m so glad we were able to spend time together. Tell James I enjoyed our walks together.

    “Count your Blessings, name them one by one”….We all need to make a list of our blessings. There are SO many things to be thankful for.
