He made my day
by adustyframe ~ October 21st, 2009Today, we worked on Cursive Success. The page he was one said to play a game found in the teacher’s book.
James came to find me and said, “Quick. Find page 37 in your book and tell me how to play this game.”
I dug out the teacher book to find the rules. He had to close his eyes, hold his pencil above the page, and when I said 3 drop the pencil and write the word closest to his pencil.
He was so excited. He laughed and wrote and kept saying, “This is fun.”
A few minutes into the game, he said, “Thank you for homeschooling me, Mom.”
Aww!! A memory to lock away and keep.

AWW! What a sweet home schooling moment there… It’s so awesome that you can home school him. I hope you and he have many more pleasant days and moments like this one.
