Another reminder of his faithfulness! I'm thankful that this weekend I was encouraged in my faith. I got to attend a women's meeting where an awesome speaker challenged us, as completely ordinary women, to change the world for the Lord by reaching out to pray with people we come in contact with on an everyday basis- for healing, or for whatever their needs are. What a thought! So thankful for God’s provision of a job for Lee. Another reminder of his faithfulness!

Then I got a $5 gift card in the mail from a local business that just remodeled. It was an invitation to come check out the new store - I already used it! My teacher rewards check from another local store arrived so I have money to buy some more school supplies. It is amazing how God supplies exactly what you need when you need it. The car started making a funny noise but as it was running ok we wnet ahead with our plans to go away overnight onto Dartmoor- a large moorland area with narrow winding roads etc- and travelled the motorway to get there. On Friday David took the car to the garage- they said they were very busy but would have a quick look- then after looking told us that the car was not road worthy as something to do with the breaks was shot. Gulp! The cost felt like nothing compared to our thankfulness that nothing had totally broken while we were out and about (and they found the time to fix it that day too!)
