Job Stuff
by adustyframe ~ November 3rd, 2009Yesterday was Lee’s first day at his “official” job–welding.
I prayed that his boss would be nice and that his co-workers would be easy to get along with. Also that Lee would be able to keep up and get adjusted easily.
When I spoke with him yesterday, he said the boss really liked him and said, “You’re gonna be my guy.”
The boss gave him lunch and took him on errands all day. He only welded for 1/2 hour.
Well that’s an answer to prayer. Finding favor with the boss can’t be a bad thing!

Hey, this isn’t a comment, but wanted to let you know. . . Got to go to the Pioneer Woman book signing last night and meet her. I stood in line for 5 hours!!! It was an experience. Met some really nice people in line. We got to know each other so well, we exchanged e-mail addresses and everything. Got a cookbook signed for Bekah and a group hug at the end. Also got my picture taken with her. I was 4th from the last person there. I left at 1am and came to work today! Crazy huh?? So glad to hear about your hubbie’s job! I’m glad he didn’t give up.
