Any blessings out there this week?

I’m always thankful for the comments that you leave! It’s encouraging to see how God works.

I’ll admit that I’m always surprised to see so few comments or links, and I hope it’s just that people are too busy–not that they don’t see their blessings!

A blessing for us this week is that I “think” I’m healthy again. I’ve not felt well for the past couple weeks–some sort of seasonal stuff was bugging me!

I went to my sister in law’s shower this weekend. We’re so blessed to have a new baby joining our family soon!

What about you?

**I have 2 reviews that were scheduled for Monday. I apologize–the dates were out of my hands. I try to have only 1 review (or less) per week, but I couldn’t help it this time!

I’m thankful for the smooth first week at my new job. Thankful that I got this job in the first place too. :)

  2. Kaje

Sometimes I need a push to share! Never shared before but I am thankful for my husbands job that keeps a roof over our heads and food on the table. With so many of our friends losing their jobs I am thankful for Gods blessing in keeping his job safe for now. Kaje

I think being to busy to be thankful is something I
suffer from sometimes….and it is NOT RIGHT!!! I need to start with being thankful that I can breath….see hear…move about….everything else is icing on the cake….thank you
Jesus for NEVER being to busy to love us.

  4. Sally

Thankful that our daughters move from the west coast to the east went well with no problems. Thankful that our son has been able to change to day time work with his company rather then nights. He is more rested and has more time with his family. Always thankful how good God is to us each day. The beautiful weather this past week was a blessing as my husband got our leafs all up.
    God is awesome.

  5. celina

it’s hard being caught with this darn flu..THE FLU….i’m on week 4…so yeah i guess i miss the blessings..but in this case..i should see that i’m grateful my kids are getting through it when a young boy in a town next over who was healthy..didn’t.. :( ….

so we’re making it..and that’s a huge blessing…and we’re all together and i should by now, know not to take that for granted..

congrats on your new job transition girl..and to lee as well..

  7. Melissa

I’m thankful this week, first, for answered prayer regarding a job for a family member; for forming new friendships and for the kind hospitality of those friends- (which really helps you feel more at home when you’re living very far from any family).
Also thankful for continued health in our family and so far not catching any dreary colds!

I am thankful that a bone scan showed that my son’s hip is not broken. But wishing that we knew why he’s in so much pain.

I’m thankful that only one child was ill with a stomach bug and that no one else got it.

I am thankful for the warm temperatures we have had the last 3 days. Perfect for long walks.

I am thankful that my 2 year old grandson now says, “I lub you.”

I was going to try a new gluten free recipe with some gf flours that I was gifted with. Unfortunately I don’t have one ingredient – potato starch. The food pantry not only had potato starch, but it also had tapioca flour. I am so blessed!! Just a side note Lizzie, but this new layout is cool, however I can’t tell the background from the text box for leaving a comment.

Hopefully you can find the potato flour!

When I logged out and “pretended” to try to leave a comment, there is a green box around the comment area. I wonder if the color on your monitor is off?

I have so many things to be thankful for!

    1. Had a great week of revival at church last week. The Galkin team is always such a blessing!
    2. Got to meet some fun new people on Monday waiting in line to have my cookbook signed by The Pioneer Woman.
    3. Mom was taken to the ER yesterday with chest pains. Praise God she wasn’t having a heart attack.
    4. On Saturday, I was able to buy $187 worth of groceries for only $55! Talk about a shopping high!
