From Outside the Frame

Sorry this is late today! The homeschool group caroled at the retirement home and I had to get out of the house early this morning.
Here’s a great video to show Continental knitting. I haven’t figured that out yet. Do any of you knit that way?
I made this candy to take for our gathering this morning. It’s pretty quick and easy. I used oyster crackers. I heard about this 1st on Crystal’s blog and she uses saltines. I’ll say it’s better on saltines than oyster crackers!
These recipes look great–make your own candy bar.
Budget Friendly gifts for men
A wonderful round up of homemade gifts. James and I made the paint with water books for my niece and my friend’s little girl.
A knitting and crcochet advent calendar. There is a new pattern everyday and you can’t peek ahead!
A list of Miss Read books. Have you ever found about books and felt like you were missing out because you never heard of them before? That’s how I feel about Miss Read! I read recently that Jan Karon was inspired by Miss Read books. Since I love all things “Mitford” I wanted to read them.
I’ve only read the first one and sure enough–they’re keeprs!

I didn’t know it was called picking! My friends just say I knit like a granny. I’m much faster picking than I am throwing.
