Flashback
by adustyframe ~ January 14th, 2010The other day, Lee said to me, “Hey, I got something for ya.” He wouldn’t tell me until he saw me.
It was a bag of these.
We used to eat them in the prison visiting room. I couldn’t find them anywhere around here until recently. They’re quite yummy.
I used to laugh about finding something new and good in the prison vending machines.
The other thing I learned from the prison visits, is that I do not like Coke and I prefer Pepsi.
I never cared before and could barely taste the difference.
I guess sipping can after can while crunching down caramel bugles helped me refine my tastes. (haha).
I enjoyed snacking on the caramel bugles and I guess it’s ok to have something “good” from our prison experience.

Those look good to me – I’m a sucker for the sweet/salty combo. My aunt makes these chocolate covered ritz with peanut butter at Christmas time and I literally have to leave the room so I don’t consume the entire tin. They are soooooo good!!

This was cute Lizzie. I used to think I liked Coke better. My dh ended up working at Pepsi, and we’ve been Pepsi drinkers since (or DP).
Anyway, this was cute.
How is Lee?

I’ve never seen that flavor of those — I am wondering how they would taste. I’ll be on the lookout!
I’m a Pepsi fan, too, though I take mine diet and decaf.

I love Bugles! But I have never seen those kind.

We have a friend who loves these and says he can only find them at select convenience stores.
