Poll
by adustyframe ~ February 22nd, 2010I haven’t run a poll for ages.
James and I were drinking tea last night and he asked how many times can you use a tea bag?
I said, I almost always use it once, but if I do save them I use 2 tea bags to make another cup of tea and it’s usually just fine.
So what about you? Vote and leave a comment. While you’re leaving a comment let me know what your favorite type of tea is.

I almost always leave the tea bag in my cup – yum! It just keeps getting stronger & stronger. I’ve got a current favorite, vanilla pear or something like that – something I picked up at the scratch & dent grocery for .39/canister. I wish now that I’d picked up 2, I’m not sure I’ll ever see this type again anywhere!
My mom, on the other hand, dunks her tea bag in 3 or 4 times and calls it good. I have no idea how she even tastes anything but hot water, but it works for her! She gets 4 or 5 uses out of her tea bags for sure!!

I like fruit-flavored teas – esp. berry flavors.

Jenny there is a great tea by Celestial seasonings called perfectly pear. It is a white tea with natural pear and vanilla flavors. I think you would like it.
Right now my favorite tea is Bigelow Mint Medley . It is a blend of cool garden spearmint and peppermint. It contains peppermint leaves, spearmint leaves, rose hips, lemon peel, and hibiscus. It is Guten free, caffeine free all natural.
My favorite changes but Mint Medley for me right now.

I usually only use my tea bag once but if I drink another cup of tea fairly soon after the first one, I’ll reuse the first bag.
You know my favorite: Yogi Ginger Tea! I buy it by the case off Amazon.com (seriously) and save an extra 15% with Subscribe and Save! I’ve set my account to have a new case delivered every 6 months. haha!

I prefer using it twice… as I don’t like my regular black tea extremely strong, and the herbal teas I like get bitter if they are brewed too long.
my faves are mint and chamomile, though I love the berry teas too.
shalom!

Twice. I try to not leave it in too long the first time, but I like it to be strong enough too.
Right now, I am drinking something Amanda brought home for Rachel that she didn’t like: Vanilla Honey Chamomile. It tastes all right. No one else really likes it either, but I enjoy chamomile.
Others I like include: Peach, Mint, and Spiced Orange.
I love to put milk or cream in my tea and honey, of course!

I only drink iced tea and use Lipton’s decaf. I don’t like hot or flavored teas. I only use the teabags once. They’re steeped and rinsed long enough that I think I get about everything out of them. Plus, using them only for pitchers of tea, I wouldn’t want to have to store them somewhere for days til I used them again.

I don’t drink hot tea! We only drink cold sweet tea here in my house and that is very rare. We drink lots of water with our meals.

So funny story… As you know, my parents are missionaries and I grew up in South America. One time we were talking to another missionary family and they said that they had received a care package from the States from a church. The church had sent used tea bags to our missionary friends! Our friends didn’t really know how to respond to that! Heheh
Ashely, this happened to my dad’s friend in Brazil too. He had to take an entire day to travel to the post office AND pay customs on the box which was only used teabags. Who in their right mind would do that?
