Job Stuff
by adustyframe ~ February 24th, 2010Lee’s boss laid him off yesterday. He says there isn’t enough work right now and they will call him back if it picks up.
Oh man!!!
We filed for unemployment but we’re not sure if he’s worked long enough to qualify.
Ok, Lord, you must have a plan! Help me to trust you!

I am so sorry to hear that! What a discouraging blow that is for all of you. I will pray for a new job and for you both to be able to do what the Lord asks us to do in Phil. 4:4-7. (I’m preaching to myself here, too!) He will provide, Lizzie. We don’t know how or when, but we know He keeps His promises. Keep trusting! I’m praying for you as I type!

Oh, wow! That is certainly a test of faith. It’s all well and good for me to tell you, “The Lord will take care of you,” but I know it’s a lot more difficult for you guys on your end. Praying…

I’m sorry Lizzie. We are in the same boat. It took 6 weeks for my husband to collect his first check and it’s only enough to cover a few bills. The savings account is almost gone… I will be praying for you.
