Random Dozen Meme

1. How old is the oldest pair of shoes in your closet?
I think my shoes I wore to my wedding (and never again) have to be the oldest.
2. Did you buy Girl Scout cookies this year? If so, what variety?
No–the whole Weight Watchers thing….
3. Do you know how to ballroom dance? If not, would you like to?
No not at all. Lee and I have talked about taking lessons sometime just for fun. I don’t know if we could afford private lessons. I don’t want to be dancing with all sorts of people!
4. Were you a responsible child/teenager?
Definitely.
5. How many of this year’s Oscar-nominated movies did you see?
None…
6. If you’re going to have a medical procedure done, such as having blood drawn, is it easier for you to watch someone else having the procedure done or have it done yourself?
Watching someone else. I can’t look when they’re drawing my own blood or I get queasy.
7. What is your favorite day of the week and why?
When I had the store, Mondays were my favorite because we were closed! Now, I guess I like Fridays the best.
8. Do you miss anyone right now?
My husband
9. Do hospitals make you queasy?
Not really
10. At which store would you like to max-out your credit card. Not that you ever would, you responsible person, you.
I imagine yarn or scrapbook supplies would be involved.
11. Are you true to the brand names of products/items?
Not particularly. With a budget like mine that wouldn’t be very wise.
12. Which is more difficult: looking into someone’s eyes when you are telling someone how you feel, or looking into someone’s eyes when he/she is telling you how he/she feels?
I don’t know if I’ve ever thought about this.

I wouldn’t want to dance with other people, either.

Private lessons would definitely be the best way to go. When Hubby and I took it was with 5 other couples and it was so intimidating. But, we did have a lot of fun. Have a great rest of the week and Happy Spring!

Our local ballroom dancing class requires that you change partners throughout the evening. Now that I think about it… that’s probably why we haven’t taken lessons. Talk about awkward.
