Tellin’ the Truth Tuesday

Tellin the truth TuesdayLast week, we went to watch my little nephew so we were gone all weekend again. I took along snacks and things I could eat.

Mostly I did well. However the pizza undid me a bit!

I took my exercise dvd and sneaked it in one day. I left the dvd there too!

I need to work on strategies for when we’re not home. I do very well when we’re home but not so great when I’m gone for 3 or 4 days.

I managed to get in 4 workouts this week. Maybe it was a good thing that I left the dvd there because now I have to do the longer workouts. That’s all I have left at home.

I did great drinking my water.

Getting to bed—I’m doing quite a bit better. I stayed up until my usual 2 a.m. last night and I was so tired. I thought that was a positive change. I’ve never felt tired while I stayed up. Overall, I’m getting to bed around midnight instead of 2 so that’s a great change.

I weighed this morning and lost the .4 lbs I gained last week so I’m the same as I was 2 weeks ago.

I really do wish the numbers were moving faster, but I’m feeling good and I’m happy with my exercise.

Goals for this week:

1. Stay on plan

2. Exercise 3-4 times

3. Go to bed earlier

4. Stay motivated

I just realized that Easter is the 1st part of April. I’m pretty sure I won’t lose 15 lbs by then, but I’ll just keep it as my goal and reevaluate after Easter.

    Took the dog to the vet this AM and guess what????
    She is overweight too…..Go figure…..

    This week I really blew it. I’m discouraged with how I’m doing. I don’t even want to say this but I adjusted the scale three times thinking this can NOT be right. I gained 9 pounds. Starting today I just have to fight to get some weight off. I’m ashamed, but have to tell the truth and pick up and do better.

    I have signed up for something called Pushy Mothers- awork out wiht your pushchair! Cannot start until April26th as too soon after giving birth right now- but have actually committeed to it and paid to join- so I should be doing some exercise soon. Certainly in less joint pain now- phew! Bought ‘healthy’ food on weekly shop- although it is going to take some serious work to kicj my pregnancy eating habits. Tine for food charts I guess. HAve lost about 9lbs since I fist weighmd after Samuel was born but I guess that is kind of cheating as a lot of the loss is just pregnancy stuff- if only it would all come off that easily! reckon I have about 3 stone to lose if not a bit more 🙁
