Do you have any blessings this week?
I was blessed to receive a gift from a friend. It came at just the right time since we’re waiting for a job for Lee. Thank you, friend!
I enjoyed some beautiful weather. Thank you, Lord!
I celebrated Jesus’ resurrection with my church family. We also had Communion which was especially appropriate on Easter Sunday.
James and I went to a local church to see an Easter play. It was very touching and a wonderful reminder of what Jesus suffered for me.
Easter Sunday while a blessed day, was particularly difficult for Lee and I. I don’t know why but I think it was just ANOTHER holiday that we couldn’t spend together.
He didn’t go to church in the morning because there wasn’t any way for him to do that without being in the service with James. He ate lunch at his mom’s which was nice, but it felt to him like a punishment that he couldn’t eat with us.
I rested in the afternoon, and in general just felt sad.
James had the best time though. He spent time with his aunts and uncles and cousins at Grandma’s (after Lee left). And then his uncle took him fishing for awhile.
We’ll get through this. I know that. Some days are just a little harder than other days.
What about you? Any blessings this week?

HE granted us 3 small things we had been praying for, insignificant things really..but important to this emotional hormonal pregnant mommy…and HE topped it off with gorgeous weather..
and now an email surprise from friends which would be a wonderful GIFT to us..
HE showed me yet again, HE does care about our happiness NOT just our well being…
i hope this point in time is short lived for you lizzie…that sunnier days will be coming for your family…i pray for LEE and JAMES in all this…that their bond can hold tight…

Two weeks ago Sunday we rec’d a call from the
local EMS that our neighbor was in distress and could we
help…..I ran next door while my husband put his shoes on
to make a long sad story short…..our neighborman
was dead in the bathroom…..his wife found him there
and thought that with CPR he could be revived….he had
fallen in the night and she didn’t hear him…..it was yet again
another reminder of how short life can be….they had gone
out to dinner the night before and had a nice evening…..
They had been married 46 years……Thankfully she
has three grown children who live close and great to her….
We were blessed again to have 4 generations in our home
for Easter…..I am thankful….

My husband found a job in Virginia, where we wanted to live for so long now.
God also worked out all of our temporary living situations until our house is done.
Those are only a few.

My oldest daughter is home with her husband and two boys. It may not sound like a big deal, but if you knew the whole story, it’s a major blessing!
