Tellin’ the Truth Tuesday

Tellin the truth TuesdayWelcome to another edition of Tellin’ the Truth Tuesday. Thanks for everyone who comments and encourages me.

I am feeling good. Even though the weight I’m at is not good– I currently weigh less than I’ve weighed for the past several years. It feels good to finally get this moving in the right direction.

I haven’t changed a size yet, but I just can tell that things fit better and that I’m feeling good and proud of myself for working on this.

I did NOT do so great last week. I got to bed earlier most nights though.

My back and neck were seriously bothering me so I didn’t get in as much exercise. I only exercised twice. I also dug into the chocolate that my secret sister gave me! Then I ate some Danish and cake. There was just too much junk around and I didn’t say no.

At least I discovered a weak area that I really have to work on!

However, I did lose 1 lb this week for a total of 15 (or 22 since October).

I decided that I shouldn’t set goals like “10 lbs by May” because this weight loss is pretty unpredictable. I’ll just set goals that I can control. For example, “Exercise 4 times” or whatever.

I took my measurements. I measured in October when I was thinking about starting. Then I measured at the end of February and I measured yesterday.

Overall, I’ve lost 15 3/4″. That’s not too shabby! I measure my arms, thighs, waist, chest, and hips.

Goals for this week:

1. Exercise 3 times

2. Go to bed earlier

3. Eat more veggies

4. Stay away from the sweets–even if I have points for them!

5. Take my vitamins every day–I’ve been slacking a bit.

What about you? Any health goals or progress?

Lizzie
