Works of God

I’m ready to hear some blessings! Anyone have anything to share?

I’m excited for Lee to start his CDL training today (Monday). It’s something he’s wanted to do for a long time. I’m nervous about the income side of it all. He’ll be in school full time for 10 weeks.

I received a notice that a portion of my electric bill was paid for me this month. That was an out of the blue blessing!

I was interviewed recently for Angel Tree’s publication for their supporters. Our family will be featured soon and be the family to pray for for the month. Wow! What an honor to be sent out as a prayer request to more people.

I’m honored when each of you prays for us. Thank you.

I’m thankful for spring and that my lilacs are almost ready to open!

What about you?

Lizzie

This week, I am extra thankful to have healthy children.

    ((hugs))

Last week, when the engineer came to inspect our home, we found that we do *not* need foundation work. We are so thankful. Our house is on the market and we are praying for it to sell quickly! 🙂

    Amen!

A word of caution for Lee when he gets his CDL. It is very
important to carefully read any contract he signs to be a
driver……I served on a jury once when the company
made lots of verbal promises that WERE NOT backed
up in writing. It can be a very good income but he must
follow the letter of the law…..and keep very accurate
log books. My husband actually audits for compliance
and making an error is very….very….costly.
    God Bless, Pam

I passed on your mesage. I’m sure they teach them all that in class! (at least I hope so!)

I’m thankful that although we had flooding all around our farm, our home and barn (animals) did not flood in the storms this past weekend. So much of the Nashville area is still under water. I’m thankful that there have been few lives lost over all. Praying for others more directly affected.

Also feeling so blessed by our Wednesday night study on Grace Based Parenting. Feeling God’s love and grace tangibly. Thankful, too, that I have complete peace about facilitating/leading the study. I was fearful about doing it but stepped out in obedience and gave it to God. He was right there with us Wednesday eve blessing us beyond measure. I love Him.

Another … my 5-year-old daughter came to me after a timeout the other day and said, “Mama!! I felt Jesus with me when I was on my bed!” She was visibly excited and her eyes were alight. “It was like a heat all around me, and I knew it was Jesus!” How wonderful is that?

And another … I’m thankful for the tender hearts of my children. I get frustrated with them and lose my temper sometimes. I’m thankful they are sweet to forgive me when I confess and ask for their forgiveness.

And last … I’m thankful for my inlaws who live across the road from us. And I’m thankful I can say that. 🙂

Wonderful blessings! Thank you for sharing. I’m glad you’re safe in the flood!
