Truck Driving School
by adustyframe ~ May 3rd, 2010Lee told me this afternoon that he gets IN THE TRUCK on Thursday. They don’t waste any time do they?
His face looked like an excited little boy. He’s talked about getting his CDL license for years. I know in a lot of ways this is going to be so exciting for him.
Then he tried to tell me something and said “Never mind.”
I pressed him to tell me and he said, “If I finish this class, I get to wear a cap and gown in December and walk across the stage.”
He had tears in his eyes and I gave him a big hug and told him how proud of him I am. He hugged me tight and I realized how important graduating is to him.
He didn’t finish high school until he was an adult. He earned his High School Equivalency Diploma, but he always feels like he never finished school.
I have a new prayer request other than a job. It’s that Lee will finish this program and get to walk across the stage in his cap and gown in December.
I want to add a prayer request that all 3 of us will be able to party together! We have 7 months to pray everyone–get busy!

WOW Lizzie……think of how far you have all come…..there
was a time when Lee felt there wasn’t much to dream of or
to strive for…..and now…..a smile….a hug and God’s
love and faithfulness…..I pray everyday for you all to
be reunited……God Bless, Pam, South Bend

This is wonderful news. We will be praying for Lee as he goes through school also as he graduates in December. Also that all three of you can celebrate together. God is able.

Woo-hoo! Praying here in TN!!! We’ve been praying for finances to come through to pay for the school, too. Should we keep praying for that??
