I received the opportunity to try the Grill Daddy for a review. Since we like to grill out in the summer, I thought this would be a fun tool to try.

The Grill Daddy is a large lightweight grill brush. The cool thing is that you add water inside the handle.

When you clean the hot grill, the water drizzles out and creates steam which helps loosen debris on the grill.

We thought it worked very well once we got the hang of it.

The bristles are steel and there are 2 different brushes on it. They get right in the grill and scrub it up nicely.

I like that the handle is long enough to keep my hands away from the heat too!

The Grill Daddy is available here. You can also find them at Ace Hardware, Amazon (use my link pretty please!), Bed Bath & Beyond, CVS, Home Depot, Sears, KMart, Target, & True Value. It retails for $19.95.

Here’s what the company says about their product:

The Grill Daddy is a steam powered grill-cleaning tool that sanitizes grills and eliminates the burnt on food, grease and dirt. Cleaning grills can be a difficult and time-consuming task but the alternative is far worse. Unwashed racks can house bacteria that could contaminate food and leave an unsanitary and bad taste.

Utilizing specially designed stainless-steel brushes, the Grill Daddy releases water as users brush, hitting the grill and turning to steam while rinsing away unsanitary debris.

Other features:

  • Steam-powered
  • No rancid greasy residue builds up on the brush (liquefies and melts it away)
  • Safe for porcelain, steel and iron grills (hot or cold)

·         Ergonomic handle keeps hands away from heat and provides maximum leverage
