Any blessings to share today?
I am blessed in many ways.
1. James camp is completely provided for thanks to loving friends and James’ hard work for the church scholarship.
2. God’s protecting us. I think of this every night as I go to bed. I’m thankful to know he watches over us and keeps us safe. I used to be afraid at night when Lee was first gone. But I’m blessed to know God keeps us safer than my husband ever could.
3. Lots of sales on Ebay and Etsy last week! Woo hoo!
4. An opportunity to practice my photography skills at my friend’s wedding on Saturday. I’ll share some photos later. I have only taken photos at 2 weddings and this was the first time I was the “official” photographer. It was a blessing to practice at a casual ceremony–much less stress.
5. I’m especially blessed to be able to speak directly to the God of the universe in prayer.
6. I found shorts for James for camp at the thrift store! Yeah.

We had a lovely weekend…..some volunteer
Work and our grandaughter’s horse show….
Very nice and peaceful……I am very thankful
To enjoy the simple things in life…..

We cousins had a family reunion on my mother’s side of the family. Many camped at the park it was held at . In spite of severe thunderstorms and tornado warnings. NO one was hurt. They had to go to city hall shelter for a hour and a half both Friday and Saurday night. One camper had a tree fall on it and a cherry picker had to remove the tree. No one was hurt and the camper had very little damage. Praise God. We all had a great time!

I am blessed and humbled with the privilege of serving lately … mommas with little ones … I so remember being in their shoes and wishing someone could help me, that a Titus 2 woman would come alongside me. When I was in that place, I asked God to help me grow into a Titus 2 woman. An answered prayer … lived out only in His strength and wisdom. Makes me cry, I’m so thankful. All those wrenching, hard days of feeling bewildered are worth it now because I feel compassion toward these mommas and can share their burden. My heart is overflowing with love … my Father cares for me and He cares for these mommas with little ones.
