CDL
by adustyframe ~ July 1st, 2010Lee is the proud owner of a CDL license! He was able to get it last Friday.
I thought it would be something different, but it’s only his driver’s license, but the class says ABCD and he has endorsements–not sure what that means!
It’s so exciting!
He’s going for a welding interview this afternoon because he got a call about a place hiring. It doesn’t pay super but anything is better than nothing. If they hire him, he’ll be working and going to school full time for the next few weeks. (School is done at the end of July.)
He’s still applying for trucking jobs of course. I’m thankful that he’s willing to do welding if he has to for awhile though.
The funny thing is that while I was folding his laundry the other day, I thought how nice it is that he’s not welding. His tee shirts aren’t full of holes and his clothes aren’t so horribly dirty. I’m pretty willing to wash dirty laundry in exchange for a paycheck though!

Opportinty for different kinds of driving needs……

YAY! We just drove cross-country and saw a lot of truckers, and it made me think of you guys, so I was praying for you! So glad to know he’s gotten his license!
