James week at camp has flown right by. I had a list a mile long of things to do, but I’m not sure I made much progress.

I’m so thankful for Lee’s new job, but I struggled with a little bit of the poochy lip. Lee leaving at 2:30 in the afternoon and getting back at 3 a.m. wasn’t exactly how I thought this week together would go!

It’s so important for him to have a job, so I truly am thankful. Too bad he didn’t start next week though!

Speaking of next week–for the next 3 weeks, Lee will be in school from 7:30 a.m til he has to leave for work. He will get to bed around 3-3:30 a.m. and have to get up for school again. It’s going to be a really rough few weeks for him physically, so we really appreciate your prayers.

Today, I painted one set of porch steps. I planned to paint the steps red and the rise white. It looked good in my mind, but looks really bad on the steps! So, I guess I’ll go with the dark color on all the parts of the steps. It was a big job and I have 2 more sets to paint.

I made strawberry jam this week. Mmm! I have to make another batch tomorrow. I’m thinking about getting some raspberries to try raspberry jam too.

My friend took me for dinner yesterday. It was so nice to have time to catch up and chat. The dinner was yummy too!

I’ve been organizing school stuff a little bit. I need to do quite a bit more, but oh well….

Here’s a project I finished last week. I’m finding uses for that chalkboard paint!
