Wow!
by adustyframe ~ August 18th, 2010I saw this video on the profiles of many of my Facebook friends recently, but never took time to watch.
I just watched it. And I cried. Of course I cried!
As I watched, I thought it’s a vivid picture of us. I’ve definitely been the one lying there writhing in agony but I think he pictures the hurt of our entire family not just me.
Isn’t God so like this to come along side us as this father did. I was thankful to see the video make that correlation.
So often, we want to accuse God of hurting us and leaving us in our pain. I wonder why we think that? God loves us so much more than any earthly parent can love us.

Wow, Lizzie — it brought me to tears, too, from both the father’s view as well as the son’s. Thankfully God is there not just when we fall, but all along the way.
