Tellin the truth Tuesday

Did you see my post last week? Here’s a visual update about my weight loss.

I don’t remember when I posted a total of pounds lost but last week, I hit a very exciting milestone.

I’ve lost 100 lbs. Yeah!!!

I’m very pleased with my results. It’s been a lot of hard work and it’s also been a blessing. I said before that other diets were not working even though I was working them. I’ve thanked the Lord many times for this diet and I’m enjoying the rewards immensely.

The best things I’ve found are the changes in my thinking. I’ve been able to pass up treats and junk simply because it’s not good for me. There’s been no inner struggle and no cravings. That is definitely not boasting on my part–it’s shock!

So, my goals at this point are to continue to follow the plan. I have more pounds to go unfortunately, but I’m making super progress. I said, I almost wish I had an excuse to go to the doctor just to show off!

    Hey Lizzie!
Way to go! Somewhere along the line, I missed that you were loosing weight. I started 3 years ago at 225 and currently weigh 140…my big thing now is to be able to maintain….without yo-yo-ing….Praying for the Lord’s blessing!

    God Bless!

Wow! Congratulations! I didn’t realize you had that far to go.

The inner struggle and cravings are what keep me from even getting started.

Amendment to above comment — not that you have that much left to go — but I didn’t realize you were needing to lose over 100 lbs. (I do, too). You probably said and it just didn’t stick with me.

I probably never said a number because it’s embarrassing and overwhelming! I think I just said I had ” a lot” to lose;)

That is WONDERFUL!!! I’ve started a diet recently and when I weighted this morning I have lost a total of 5 pounds so far. That is an encouragement to me as I tend to yo-yo.

A statement that really helped me from a Christian woman speaker: “if you let a chocolate chip cookie run your life you will not succeed in other areas of your life”….. I decided that food would NOT run my life……I can do ALL things thru Christ who gives me strength.

Wow! Congratulations! That is really amazing and took some determination! I seem to be lacking in that determination department 😉
