Tellin’ the Truth Tuesday

by adustyframe ~ January 18th, 2011

Tellin the truth TuesdayI went to bed at 11:30 last night!! I’m working on getting up earlier and even though I didn’t get up super early today, it was definitely earlier than normal.

My weight loss continues to go well. I’m almost done with this round of my strict phase. I lost my Christmas craziness–from eating treats–and a few more!

I’m feeling good. I’m excited because from now on, everything that I lose is new territory so to speak. I’m currently just about the smallest I’ve been as an adult and I wasn’t much smaller as a teenager. I’m looking forward to seeing how I look and feel at weights I never really weighed!

I’ve been trying some crazy things. A lady at church told me that radishes diced and cooked in the skillet mimic potatoes. They do! I cooked them with a tiny bit of coconut oil and onions and added eggs to scramble.

My husband isn’t too thrilled with this discovery because he said my breath stinks! Hmmm what to do… I’ve read that low carb does that to you. I also have a love for the onions and garlic.

I think the very best part of this whole weight loss journey is that my body doesn’t feel like my enemy anymore.
