Tropical Traditions Shredded Coconut Review & Giveaway

by adustyframe ~ February 28th, 2011

Tropical Traditions sent me their shredded coconut to try. Unsweetened coconut has become one of my very favorite treats on my diet!

I love stirring it into plain yogurt with some almonds. I also put it in a little chocolate treat I make as well as eat it plain.

It’s so yummy! Tropical Traditions unsweetened coconut has a really nice flavor. James loves it too and sometimes scoops some in a bowl and eats it plain.

Shredded coconut is fine small pieces (in case you were wondering…)

Tropical Traditions is offering shredded coconut to one of my readers too!

The recipe I would like to try is “Coconut Baked Chicken”.
    I eat Low Carb.
So there would only be one substitute I would make.
I would substitute the flour for there flax seed.
    Everything else I would use.
I like to use the coconut oil.
And of course I would like to try it with the coconut.
    I hope I win.
    Thank You for the giveaway.

I have cooked with their coconut oil now for about 4 years. my son is GF/DF/SF. I am GF but have also had to go DF/SF as well and learning many new ways to cook with coconut products. I am also sugar free so learning has been exciting, failures and frustrations as well. I love their recipes but haven’t tried many of them yet. So no favorites although I really want to do the coconut protein bites.
