Works of God~Share A Blessing (Or 2 or 3…)

Any blessings to share?

1. Lee was finally able to get on our insurance since he lives at home–our insurance being provided by the state….

He got eyeglasses finally, his horrible teeth cleaned up, and finally a physical. So far the tests have come back clear although he has blood work today. It’s a big blessing to be able to get him some medical care. Contrary to popular belief the free health care in the prison system isn’t cadillac coverage. He’s gone years with no medical care.

2. Even though we still qualify for state insurance, we don’t qualify for food stamps anymore. I’m a little freaked out about that but also excited. We never planned to be takers forever and it’s good that we’re moving into better territory but man oh man–another opportunity to trust!

3. The weather was sunny and warm the past couple of days. I was able to sit outside and read my Bible study for awhile last night–refreshing!

4. My garden is pretty perky. I have a tiny garden, but I still enjoy seeing everything grow.

Insurance is such a blessed thing to have and it’s good he’s back on it 🙂

For me, I praise God for my father’s super duper fast recovery from the back surgery. Also praise God for giving me a swift kick in the butt to get me out of my comfort zone and start thinking about my future a bit more. 🙂

We attended Wellman (my Mother’s side) reunion yesterday. My brother from California was here. Nice to see him even through it was for a short time. Also got to see some nieces, nephews and some of their kids. Also many cousins.

I’ve learned so much about dealing with prison from you. It’s appalling that there is such a lack of medical care. I’m glad he is doing so well and that he is able to be on insurance now.

“Another opportunity to trust” — good way to look at it!

a new opportunity for our family….we may be transfered STATESIDE!!richmond, va!

talk about trusting God..such a huge scary move, but will allow us to save $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ and maybe purchase a home…and bonus…be closer to b-i-l in the states..

so trusting that we follow where HE leads..as we’ve always tried to do

Praise God for Lee’s health care! I understand about getting off food stamps and worrying. I’ve been there!
