He went on the trial run Monday through late last night and was supposed to be home for a few days.

But he left very early this morning and we don’t really know what’s up. Apparently the owner is super disorganized and changes his plans multiple times a day.

(OH MY WORD! I’m going to have to learn how to be flexible.)

Once we (hopefully) figure out a bit of a schedule, I’ll be able to pack food for him and help save money with meals. We really had no warning yesterday and all I did was his laundry and threw a few more snacks in his bag and he left.

Right now he’s driving all by himself over to the next state. I know “all by himself” probably sounds funny but he’s never done this and wow.

I’m hoping and praying that this isn’t like the last long line of jobs that were short term. He’s not getting fired all over town! It’s just that with the baggage he carries, he really can’t get hired at the “best” jobs and so he takes the temp jobs or the jobs that aren’t operated the best and we hope for the best.

I KNOW that God has cared for us and planned all this. I KNOW that it’s hard because of my husband’s own past choices. Still doesn’t make it any easier and I get to ride along even though it’s not my fault.

So you can pray for me!

Of course you know what happened this morning right? Car junk–CAR JUNK! with the “dependable” car,

So, I’m trusting (minute by minute!) but you can pray for me because I need it!

Lizzie……please make sure that his bosses disorganization doesn’t
translate into breaking any DOT laws…..my husband does DOT
audits and it is serious business……not trying to be bossy “just wanted to give you a heads up”
    God Bless

So did the owner hear about his criminal history, and still things went well? I hope so! That is good news. I hope it’s a good and long-lasting job for Lee! What a relief that would be for all three of you. So sorry about your car troubles.

I can totally understand the part about the husband’s poor choices and having to go along for the ride. 🙁 Sometimes it really stinks.

Hope this works out for all of you!
