A Lancaster County Christmas~Suzanne Woods Fisher~Book Review

by adustyframe ~ September 20th, 2011

The first vacation Lee and I took was to Lancaster county. I love everything Amish and so he treated me to a trip there. We even rode in an Amish buggy!
I read some of the Amish fiction that comes out and so I said I’d be happy to review this book for Litfuse Publicity–I received a free copy in return for my review.
This is a nice hardcover book with a beautiful cover. It’s 198 pages so it’s not a super short Christmas book but it’s an easy read. Perfect for a cool winter afternoon on the couch!
Suzanne does a good job mixing two clashing cultures in this story and I found myself wondering what would happen.
If you enjoy Christmas stories, or Amish stories you’ll want to read A Lancaster County Christmas. Don’t forget to participate in her Facebook party for some fun giveaways!

I’ve pretty much just read Beverly Lewis’s Amish fiction, but this looks good. I just wish they’d not do these in such a way that you have to click on FB and then give it access to your info.
