Kashi TLC Peanutty Dark Chocolate Bars~Review and Giveaway

by adustyframe ~ October 21st, 2011

Who doesn’t LOVE peanuts and chocolate together? (Well Lee doesn’t but…)

I was given the opportunity to share Kashi’s TLC Dark Chocolate Bars with my group of homeschool moms.

I received a bag of these bars from Kashi and we tried them immediately. MMM!

I’ve used several Kashi products for James. I love that they provide healthy food that tastes good! We’ve tried their crackers, cereals, cookies, and cereal bars.

We loved trying these bars.

They are made with Kashi’s 7 grains then topped with a fruit spread, dark chocolate, and nuts.

Each bar has 7 grams of fiber and 4 grams of protein. They are a choice I feel really good about offering to James.

A box of 6 of these retails for $3.89. I like that they are packaged individually–makes it easier to pack in a backpack or lunch box!

The moms I shared these with were happy to try them. Some had already tried Kashi products, but not this flavor of bar. Others hadn’t heard of Kashi, so I was happy to offer them a GOOD healthy product that was tasty too!

Kashi has been providing minimally processed foods for 25 years. They offer real food free of additives and chemicals or refined sugars–real food that tastes good!

What I like best about them? That I can offer James healthy real food that feels like a treat. I love having him enjoy these items and not care that they are “good for him.”.

One day, I cut them up in nuggets for a muffin tin lunch. He thought that was cool too!

Find Kashi on Facebook.

So here’s the fun part!

I still have some of these and I’d love to share them with you.

If you’d like 6 of these bars (not in a Kashi box though…) here’s how to enter:

1. Follow me on Google Friend connect and tell me that you did so.  This is mandatory.

2. Tweet about this giveaway or share my link on Facebook–limit one time per day–then leave a comment here telling me you did.

3. Visit the Kashi site and come back here to tell me what you’d like to try or which Kashi product you already love.

Giveaway ends Friday October 28 at midnight Pacific.
