I received Blue Moon Promise from Litfuse Publicity to review. I can’t remember if I’ve read anything by Colleen Coble before but I did enjoy this one.
Lucy cares for her 2 younger siblings on her own. The money is running out, her stepmother has disappeared, and some big thug is hanging around their house!
A wealthy friend of her late father appears and tells Lucy she should marry his son. Lucy feels she has no other choice and agrees to marry his son–by proxy!
Imagine Nate’s surprise when his father returns from a business trip toting a wife and 2 children. He’s not amused to say the least. Nate’s father wasn’t exactly looking out for Lucy when he made this offer, but if you want to know all the twists and turns you’re going to have to pick up the book!
I found it an enjoyable read.

I’ve read and ejoyed several of her modern-day books but haven’t read anything historical from her yet.
