What I’ve Been Reading

by adustyframe ~ March 8th, 2012

I saw this book mentioned on someone’s blog and borrowed it from the library.

The Sweetest Thing by Elizabeth Musser about Depression Era Atlanta. It’s pretty good. I enjoyed the story and found myself wondering who she would choose and how things would work out. I like it when a book makes me think about it when I’m not reading it–rather than one that I can figure out the story line before it happens.

I finished reading this while we were on our little get away. I haven’t read anything else by Elizabeth Musser. Have you?

Another book I saw on a blog, Directed Verdict by Randy Singer. Once again this is an author I’ve not read before. This book was VERY GOOD! I snagged it free as a Kindle book. I read this on our get away and finished it last night.

I couldn’t read it fast enough. It’s a story of Christian missionaries tortured in Saudi Arabia as well as stories of the law firm that represents the missionary wife. It’s a page turner–that’s about all I can say. You should give it a try.

I read another Kindle book but that’s for a BookSneeze review so I’ll post that one later!

What have you been reading?
