I’m considering making this peasant bread today. It’s very cold and bread sounds like a great idea.
Here are some recipes we’ve tried and enjoyed lately:
Salsa verde chicken–I found the idea here but I made salsa verde this summer with my green tomatoes and canned it. Instead of following this recipe, I put a 2 c. jar of salsa verde in the crockpot with the chicken breast and 1 c. of water. MMMMM it was so good. I served it with pinto beans, cheese, and quiona instead of rice. \
A similar idea–cook stew meat in enchilada sauce and serve in burritos. Chile Colorado Burritos
James and I enjoy these. They’re pretty yummy–no sugar no grain pancakes. The batter keeps nicely in the fridge for a couple of days too. Easy Peasy Pancakes
DIY hard shell ice cream--it works great! I even put it on top of my banana “ice cream”.
Have you tried any good recipes lately?

Thank you for the recipes! The bread looks awesome! I have made homemade Magic Shell before, but the girls didn’t like the coconut taste. I think I will try refined coconut to see how we like it. I saw that butter also works, and I bet that would be amazing on vanilla ice cream!:)
