Works Of God~Share A Blessing

Anyone have a blessing this week?

I have to admit that I’m almost always surprised that there are so few comments on this post. My purpose was to help people realize how very blessed we are all day every day–big or “little” they are all worth sharing. I’m not trying to guilt you into commenting. Just curious why so few people think they have a blessing to share….

*I heard the baby’s heart beat last week.

*Lee was safe driving in all this winter weather.

*I was able to have a lovely chat with a newer friend at church yesterday.

*God’s provision for us.

What about you?

Lizzie

Wonderful church family, comfortable home, healthy family, Risen Lord…not in that order…the blessings are so many, and so overwhelmingly wonderful! Smaller ones like a warm cup of coffee, learning about explorers with my kids, helping my newly-reading son get through a book all by himself, the sound of the dishwasher running because it means I didn’t have to hand-wash… 🙂

I think we don’t share blessings, because we do not see them in our lives as much as we see the problems. At least, that is how it often is with me.
I’ll share some – my daughter was given money for her school bill
we have 2 school friends over for a few days
God’s working in many ways in our lives

We have many things to be thankful for: one son-in-law started a new full time job last week, one daughter-in law is expecting a baby in July, and this grandma gets to travel to MI this weekend to visit two grandbabies up there!

~The Lord has been giving me the strength to get through the work day. I have not worked outside the home in 25 years, so returning has been very difficult, even though it’s only parttime. ~My girls have been keeping up with their school work, when I am at work. ~Teaching sewing classes at my new job has been fun. ~We have a warm home to live in right now. ~ We have all been healthy so far this winter.

Maybe I didn’t think you meant me?!

I am thankful for a friend to invite us over for dinner whilst my husband is away for a couple of nights. Also my little girl got up and started to prepare myself and her two brothers breakfast this morning 🙂 I was also able to be part of a ladies meeting today where we were able to commend Christ to a lady who is seeking. So precious!
