Read my review and if you’d like to enter to win a deliciously creepy book, all you have to do is leave a comment on this post. I’ll draw for a winner on Saturday afternoon!
The Tenth Plague is the second book by author Adam Blumer. I read his first book and enjoyed it so when this one came out I decided to give it a try. The main couple in this book were also in the author’s first book–Fatal Illusions. It took me awhile to realize that–I’m not sure why!
This book is available only on Kindle. (You can read it on Amazon’s free Kindle for PC app even if you don’t have a Kindle.)
The story begins with a couple escaping for a relaxing retreat. They were invited to a resort by a friend and are looking forward to time away.
Unfortunately, when they arrive, they discover a group of people protesting at the resort and they enter a world of strange occurrences based on the Biblical plagues.
The first is blood flowing out of the faucets, then a dead body with frogs…it just gets creepier from there.
Who is murdering people? Who will be murdered next? Are the murders tied to the protesters?
Protesters, Bible translations, murders, plagues, a dangerous old mine, a little boy with a disability drawing cryptic photos…..oh my!
I promise this book will keep you up way past your bedtime! Just be sure that the doors are locked before you go to bed and maybe put in ear plugs so you can’t imagine every sound you hear is the murderer. (This may or may not have happened to me–just giving you fair warning…)
