I saw this on a blog this morning and decided it would be the perfect way for me to get something posted. I mentioned before that I think of many things to post and then by the time I have time to sit down at the computer, I forget what I wanted to write!

waking up whenever baby wakes up

sleeping  next to baby. Sometimes, going to bed is my favorite! It’s not just because I’m tired, but because I get to snuggle with baby and listen to his sweet noises. I’ve started reading a chapter or so in my book before I fall asleep. It’s nice to get in some reading time again!

experimenting with recipes from my eating plan

watching news, Murder She Wrote reruns, Cold Case reruns, Duck Dynasty (yep, we LOVE Duck Dynasty…)

so enjoying watching baby take over everyone’s hearts

making it to only what’s necessary! I do like the feeling of getting out of the house with baby. It makes me feel that I’m getting back to normal. However, being home and having days where we don’t have to leave the house have always been my favorite.

writing nothing much

wearing maternity clothes–still (yikes that’s an admission!) My belly was sore for so long and it’s still so big and squishy–so my maternity shorts have been most comfortable. I do need to go shopping though. My pre-baby clothes do not fit right now and it really is time to retire the maternity stuff!

ordering nothing right now but looking at Amazon for some school books

planning  Nathan’s baby dedication party (maybe?)

dreaming about having a clean house

hanging photos of baby on our family photo wall

drinking water–I love water!

cherishing baby’s smiles and laughs. We can get him to smile almost all the time. Laughs are a little rarer, but he’s starting to laugh at us and it melts our hearts. James squishes his cheeks and hollers, “Mom come quick” and we watch him laugh at his big brother. He’s not quite to the point where we can always get him to laugh and he rarely laughs at the same thing twice but we’re having fun trying to make him laugh.

feeling back to normal–almost~

reading  Lis Wiehl books on my Kindle

loving everything about our new life with our amazing blessing

witnessing our family change and yet feel as though it’s always been this way
