Merino Kids Sleep Sack~Review

by adustyframe ~ September 26th, 2013

I was contacted by Merino Kids and asked to review their sleep sack. Sleep sacks weren’t really anything I knew about when James was a baby, but I had been thinking that I needed to find a few for winter  for Nathan. Our home is cool and we live in cold country so I want baby to be cozy while he sleeps.

My package arrived from Merino Kids and the sleep sack was beautifully wrapped.

The sleep sack is very soft and warm! I tried it on baby today–it’s still a bit too warm for wearing it to bed :). It is really a very nice quality sleep sack that he will probably be able to wear for more than one winter–it’s very roomy and long!

I like that the zipper is enclosed so there’s nothing rough to touch baby’s skin. The merino is very soft and the sack is beautiful. The outside is organic cotton and the inside is superfine merino wool.

I like that it will help baby regulate his temperature and not be too hot or too cool. They’ve thoughtfully included an opening so that you can buckle baby into  a stroller or carseat.

I’m looking forward to baby being all snuggly in this beautiful sleep sack all winter long. He has a tendency to poke his foot out of blankets and kick socks off, so I’m glad he’ll have warm feet this winter.

Pros:

Beautiful

Soft

Warm

Meets US safety standards

High quality

Room to grow and use for more than one winter

Feet will stay warm

I don’t have to worry about baby getting tangled up in blankets

Cons:

Higher price–although I can say the quality of this beautiful sleep sack blows the other brands out of the water!

It needs wool soap which I’ll need to find.

Thank you, Merino Kids for allowing me to review this beautiful sleep sack!

Disclosure: Merino Kids sent me one sleep sack in order to provide a review. All opinions are my own.
